The quick change, drop down gears are used to set the final drive ratio of the M1 Racing Transaxle. Located on the back of the M1, their easy access allows for flexibility in choosing the correct final drive for the day's race.

Final drive ratios available are 4.28, 4.41, 4.57, 4.76, 4.93, 5.09, 5.58, 5.75, 5.99, 6.25, 6.35, 6.43 and 6.53
The quick change gear cover is reversible. This feature add to the flexibility in plumbing for the M1.
