Pinion Coupler

The M1 is essentially two transmissions in one.  The automatic section, on the left, joins the differential case, on the right.  Ensuring the proper location and fit, hardened steel inserts are machined into both cases.  A splined pinion coupler joing the lower input shaft to the pinion shaft.  All mating surfaces in the M1 are o-ringed for proper sealing and serviceability
